Kumiko is on a school excursion to the Maritime Museum in Odaiba. The museum houses models of dozens of commercial ships, including tankers and container ships. Kumiko really isn't that interested in seeing ships, she is more interested in going to the Wild Things Cafe, a theme restaurant based on "Where the Wild Things Are".

Violet the avid Bird Watcher

Violet has been an avid bird watcher since she was twelve years old. Her interest in birds first came about when she noticed a tiny green hummingbird outside her window. She fell in love with its petite size, delicate wings and unusual colour. To this day she still thinks it is one of the prettiest things she has ever seen.

Apple & Strawberry Juice

When Rae was a little girl she would go to Chadstone Shopping Centre every Thursday night with her family. They would go on separate missions...to the toy store, pet shop, games store etc. One and a half hours later they would meet at the juice stall and have an apple and strawberry juice together before deciding what to have for dinner. It brings back fond memories...

Hailey the Master Model Builder

Hailey is about to go on her first date (ever!) with Samuel from her Geography class. They're going to Legoland because Hailey is going to compete in the Junior Master Model Builder Ultimate Build Off Competition. She is always being told she is a great builder and thought it would be a fun activity. Also, she would like to impress Samuel!

As of tomorrow my husband will be back at work so it means play time is over and I'll start painting and crafting again. But for today here's a pic of a custom order I did for a lovely girl who wanted a picture of a picnic scene for her boyfriend.

A worthwhile trade

Last week, at her friends "turn of the century" party , Tina managed to strike up a trade with a nice young man. He was admiring her gloves which he thought would be perfect for his girlfriend and she was admiring his hat because it was so nicely worn in and seemed like it would fit her head. It worked out wonderfully.

Bowl cut since five...

Corey has had the same haircut since he was five years old. It is the basic bowl shape and it first appeared on the 21st of June, 1988 when his mother bought out her much loved wooden salad bowl and cut a perfectly straight line around the rim.

Perfect Autumn ensemble

Even though it is now Winter, Erin decides after several outfit changes, that Autumn is her inspiration and partners her olive green tights with her red beret and brolly. Pretty cute, don't you think?

Icecream and rainbow warriors

Billy can be a little hotheaded and brash. I think it comes from being the youngest in a family of six siblings. She listens to Cocorosie and loves her Nanna very much. She also likes to bake banana bread.

Authentic Mexican

Chihiro went to Mexico last week. She was very impressed with the architecture and cactus gardens. When she gets back to Tokyo she will tell her friends all about the places she visited and the food that she ate. She especially liked chicken chilaquiles

I've always wanted to customise a set of babushka dolls. After many hours of sketching, erasing and painting. I came up with this...a friends picnic scene with my all-time favourite pooch. I hope you like it.
