A worthwhile trade

Last week, at her friends "turn of the century" party , Tina managed to strike up a trade with a nice young man. He was admiring her gloves which he thought would be perfect for his girlfriend and she was admiring his hat because it was so nicely worn in and seemed like it would fit her head. It worked out wonderfully.

Bowl cut since five...

Corey has had the same haircut since he was five years old. It is the basic bowl shape and it first appeared on the 21st of June, 1988 when his mother bought out her much loved wooden salad bowl and cut a perfectly straight line around the rim.

Perfect Autumn ensemble

Even though it is now Winter, Erin decides after several outfit changes, that Autumn is her inspiration and partners her olive green tights with her red beret and brolly. Pretty cute, don't you think?

Icecream and rainbow warriors

Billy can be a little hotheaded and brash. I think it comes from being the youngest in a family of six siblings. She listens to Cocorosie and loves her Nanna very much. She also likes to bake banana bread.

Authentic Mexican

Chihiro went to Mexico last week. She was very impressed with the architecture and cactus gardens. When she gets back to Tokyo she will tell her friends all about the places she visited and the food that she ate. She especially liked chicken chilaquiles

Three girls, a frenchie and an apple

I've always wanted to customise a set of babushka dolls. After many hours of sketching, erasing and painting. I came up with this...a friends picnic scene with my all-time favourite pooch. I hope you like it.

The end of a love story

Gone are the days of tweed and pearls for fashion house Chanel... at the ready-to-wear Spring/Summer 2010 show British pop star Lily Allen performed in an amazing dress made of sequins and feathers followed by a string of models wearing an assortment of frocks based around a reconstruction of the Hameau de la Reine, Marie Antoinette's play farm at Versailles.

The other night Natalia put on her brand spanking new outfit and went to the screening of Wes Anderson's new film Fantastic Mr. Fox. She had a great time and thought the film was charming. She particularly liked the little red apples on Mrs Fox's dress and the cool calculator watch Mr Fox was wearing.

Robyn lives down the road from the Brett Whiteley Studio in Surry Hills, New South Wales with her pet kookaburra, Arkie. They plan on visiting the gallery today because they heard the Iconic Whiteley exhibition is not to be missed.

Recently my little sister came to visit us from Tokyo and I've been having trouble getting back into the swing of things. Maybe because I'm still digesting the tonne of junk food (burgers, pizza, peanut butter cups, cherry pie etc etc) consumed when she was here. We had a great time catching up and we did heaps of touristy things like Venice Beach, Rodeo Drive, Ripley's Believe It Or Not Odditoruim (!) The Ghetty and ofcourse the LA Zoo. I'm hoping to recover soon and have some new things to post in the next few days.

Charity is wearing her secret smile...the smile she gets when she thinks about the cute things her boyfriend does for her...for example, last night when she was on the phone with him she mentioned that she had a sore throat, this morning when she went to check the post she found some butter menthols in her letter box along with a hand written note...he's a sweetie

Stripey and Shy

Meet Nicholas...he is 17 years old and extremely shy. He is bad at sports, has a slim physique and barely says a word in class. He enjoys sitting by the lake, eating hot dogs and is the reigning champion (amongst his family) of Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party.

Sleepy Eyes

Charlie is so sleepy. She stayed awake til 4 o'clock last night watching the original series of Master Chef. She likes to imagine she is one of the judges smelling all the delicious aromas and sampling the amazing dishes.

My lovely Aunt

Ever since June was a little girl she looked up to her Great Aunt Gladis for she was a beautiful and kind lady with a lovely singing voice who told the most interesting stories about lands far, far away . For her 21st birthday Gladis gave June her much loved jacket which June treasures very much. Not only is it the perfect length on her, it also goes with almost everything in her wardrobe.

Niles Lexington, Esq.

Niles has been ecstatic ever since he was singled out above all the other gentlemen wolves in his pack attend an afternoon tea party at the Buckingham Palace hosted by none other than the charming Prince of Wales. Oh what an honour for it was the first time any of Canidae family have ever invited! A new outfit will be in order for such a special occasion

Brett Fox and Lacrosse

Brett Fox is the goalkeeper of the Montreal Lacrosse Club. He takes pride in this. The Club was established in 1856 by dentist Dr. William George Beers. One of Dr. Beers's innovations was the replacement of the hair-stuffed deerskin ball with the hard rubber ball. Brett tried playing with the deerskin ball once but he found it difficult.

Ma petite Anouk

Anouk is on her way to class. In her briefcase she has packed a note book, an English-French dictionary, an assortment of pens and also an almond croissant. Sometimes she gets hungry after a long day at school.

Josh likes to stand in doorways with one hand in his pocket when he is waiting for his dates. He thinks this makes him look cool.

Gena is a librarian. She loves to collect coloured leather gloves and studies art restoration on the weekends.

These gorgeous little girls are the best of friends. They like to dress alike and eat strawberry doughnuts.

Katerina volunteers at the local animal rescue. She is always being complimented for her sweet nature and sense of style.

Eva is saving up all her dollars to open a children's book store. It has been her dream since she was a teenager. She is the eldest of six children.

Jarvis has always been a bit of a hero of mine. I'm a huge fan of his music and I love his geekey demeanor. His lyrics have made me laugh, cry, cringe and smile.

Brittany just turned 16. For her birthday she got two tickets to Disneyland, green socks and a new multi-coloured sling bag.

Kiki and Aiko are Harajuku kids. They love to spend hours getting ready for their weekend shopping trips. To end the day they treat themselves to banana and cream crepes

Chika cannot wait to go to the San Diego zoo this weekend. She's really looking forward to seeing the giant pandas.

Mariah and Tina are working on their poses. They will be going on a world tour next month to Sydney, Auckland, Copenhagen, Paris and Buenos Aires. It should be a fun trip.
