Edward the Archaeologist

 

Meet Edward.  He is a Professor of  Archaeology at Boston University.  Like most budding Archaeologists, he became drawn to the study of past human societies when he first watched Henry Walton Jones Jr. aka Indiana Jones crack his bullwhip in the Raiders of the Lost Ark.  Though hopeless with a bullwhip Edward did have the book smarts and the patience to endure such a profession.

Perfectly Primped Petunia

 

Perfectly primped Petunia is on her way to the Moonlight Cinema for a picnic and movie with her favourite friends at the Royal Botanical Gardens.  It's something she's been looking forward to since it was first mentioned a couple of weeks ago over breakfast at Tiffany's.  It promises to be a delightful night.

This painting makes me feel nostalgic about old family pets.  Our countless bunnies,  guinea pigs, canaries, finches, the occasional chicken and duck and my all-time favorite labrador, Arkie Matilda.  I miss them all so much :(
