Shy and Dreamy

Catalyn is in a fantastic mood today. She is on her way to the Kunsthal Museum to see Katinka Lampe's exhibition. Lampe is one of Catalyn's all-time favourite artists. One day she hopes to own a piece of this very special work.

I like love notes

Naomi is on her way to see her boyfriend James. They've been together for around three months and she thinks he's pretty special. They've been on approximately 32 dates, each one fun and exciting - her favourite moment being the late night supper he made for her after they went to the She & Him gig last month. I think it's safe to say Naomi is completely smitten.

Picture perfect

It was my little sister's birthday on Thursday and to celebrate we went to Huntington Gardens for High Tea. The grounds were breathtaking and the Tea Room didn't disappoint. I only wish we had worn appropriate footwear, by the end of the day each step we took was agony. We managed to take some good photos though!

A little treat

Sunday baking is the best...especially when the ingredients involve sweet, sweet strawberries and copious amounts of cream!

Break time

my little sister is coming over for a wee visit so I won't be doing much drawing between now and the end of the month. I will still be doing some random posts about assorted lovely things so please keep visiting. xo

I found out yesterday that my in-laws have been married for FORTY years! They're the loveliest couple and the best parents anyone could ever wish for. You inspire us and we love you. xoxo

Little Red

Sweet Little Red Riding Hood was not the sharpest needle in the pin cushion but she remains (to me) one of the best dressed fairy tale characters ever!

A lovely package...

On Friday I received the loveliest package in the mail. My Mum posted me my little collection of knickknacks that I neglected to ship over during our hasty move last year. These little ornaments have generally followed me everywhere...to multiple share houses, apartments and even overseas. My house just doesn't seem as homely without them. She even threw in a couple of Milky Bars for good measure! Thanks Mum!

Sarah and her Chicken Top

Sarah can sometimes be a fuddy duddy. She is generally not a festive person and doesn't usually get into celebrating the holidays, however, she is a fan of Easter eggs and does not mind chickens and bunnies. Once a year she will put on her trusty and much loved chicken top and go to the local gardens for an Easter egg hunt.

Yummy Avocado Sandwich

Today I went to Trails Cafe in Griffith Park for lunch with a friend. I love the pretty surroundings and creative vegetarian menu. Not to mention their famous lavender vanilla shortbread cookies, the perfect combination of crunchy, salty, sweet and fragrant. I adore you , Trails Cafe.
